Perfect 10 Selects Integrated Solutions from Microsoft
and Manhattan Associates
Purchase of Supply Chain Execution Solutions Charts
the Course for Other Microsoft Industry Builder Initiatives
NEW YORK - July 21, 2005 - InterDyn Colorado, a
subsidiary of InterDyn AKA, a gold certified Microsoft Dynamics
Partner, completed a highly collaborative sale to Perfect
10 Satellite Distributors, Inc., between Microsoft Dynamics,
Columbus IT Partner, and Manhattan Associates, Inc., (Nasdaq:
MANH). This is the first sale and implementation of the
joint Microsoft Axapta Enterprise Application and Manhattan
Associates Supply Chain Execution solutions as part of Microsoft's
Industry Builder Initiative. The Industry Builder initiative
is designed to deliver improved business-specific management
solutions to customers around the globe.
Manhattan Associates, the global leader in providing solutions
for supply chain execution and optimization was the first
Industry Software Vendor selected to provide its solutions
as part of the initial Industry Builder rollout. This initiative
provides Manhattan Associates with expanded customer reach
through the Microsoft Dynamics channel network with more
than 1,160 channel partners around the world.
Perfect 10, a privately owned corporation serves the product
distribution needs of thousands of independent satellite
television dealers nationwide. Prior to the implementation
of the Microsoft Axapta and Manhattan Associates Supply
Chain Execution solutions Perfect 10 users experienced usability
issues, highly manual processes for working around existing
ERP applications, and frustration with the resulting functional
limitations of customer service and sales force functionality.
The InterDyn Colorado and the Columbus IT account teams
were involved to ensure a deep understanding of Perfect
10's business requirements and demonstrate the operational
benefits that the combined Axapta/Supply Chain Execution
solutions provide including: financials, warehousing, returns,
customer service, sales, IT, credit and collections, and
buy-downs. Perfect 10's evaluation included more than 20
employees, across nine departments evaluating the core financial,
trade & logistics, enterprise portal, business analytics,
and several third-party modules. InterDyn Colorado and Columbus
IT also demonstrated the value of Manhattan Associates'
Warehouse Management solution, a component of its integrated
Supply Chain Execution suite offered under this program.
Key highlights included the planned interface with the Axapta
solutions and the strategic relationship that exists between
InterDyn Colorado, Columbus IT, Manhattan Associates, and
Microsoft. The software licensed included capabilities for
160 users.
According to Ann Dorsey of Perfect 10, "Axapta was chosen
over the alternatives because of its ease of customization,
tiered technology, data mining and the fact that it is a
Microsoft product for a Microsoft shop."
